Lîska a Zeriav: Restaurant Packaging
This restaurant packaging was part of an assignment called "Culture Shock". Each of us had to pick a place in the world, other than where we lived, and research that culture. I chose Slovakia, mostly because my great-grandmother immigrated from there and, seeing as I never met her, I wanted to learn about the food and culture. Soups, dumplings, and breads were staples for the Slavic culture, which led me to think about what kind of to-go packaging would hold these items the best. I also took inspiration from Slavic folklore and traditional dress for the visual design itself.
