Glade Baptist Church

Glade Baptist is a small-town church based out of Laurel, MS that needed help creating a brand that represented them and their values. Their previous logo was outdated and did not feel overly welcoming. When they came to me, Glade Baptist had already gone to several other designers to see about getting a redesign, but all of them were either out of their price range or could not quite capture their vision.

As a Christian myself, I knew how important it was to create a brand that embodied love, kindness, and openness. The blue and orange color palette was chosen to represent the cleansing waters of Christ and the dawning of a new day in Jesus, with their hues being a bright, bold hue to appeal more to a younger audience. After seeing the beautiful stained glass windows in the church, I knew I wanted to mimic that in the design to add a more personal touch.
